“I have been an early year’s assessor for the last 2 and half years, with over 12 years of experience in the Early Years sector and previously worked as nursery manager in an Early year’s settings. I have recently completed my BA honours in Early Childhood studies with a specialism of Teaching, learning and assessment.”

We asked Hetal why she wanted to complete the level 3 education and training:

“I wanted to take the training course to further my knowledge within my role and gain new skills to support me as an assessor. I had already completed my assessor qualification, along side my foundation degree in Early Childhood studies. But this course enabled me to learn and do at the same time and develop my own practice for the future”.

We asked Hetal what she has taken away from the course:

“This course has had a positive impact in my career, but also supported me in my own socialising, as it allowed me to build my confidence. The training was amazing, the sessions were engaging, and Barry was fantastic. The course gave me opportunities to learn, but also reflect. This allowed me to identify my own teaching styles, and how I can better within this”.
