I’ve worked at Realise for 21 years, having spent this time delivering apprenticeships in customer service, business administration and trade supplier to name a few. There have been many, many positive changes along the way, during which I’ve worked with some amazing colleagues, apprentices and employers. The part I most love about my role is supporting our apprentices in reaching their full potential.

My role at Realise is to deliver the Level 5 Operations and Department Manager apprenticeship. I also support in the design and delivery of workshops, resources, and support materials for the students. In my role, every day is a school day, I learn so much from my wonderful students whilst helping them to develop into leaders of the future.

I am an experienced assessor and trainer, delivering retail, customer service and business administration from level 2 to Level 4. I have been working in the industry for the last seven years and started working with Realise in October 2018. I have a bachelor degree in economics and masters in business administration. I have more than 10 years of experience in retail and business administration. Ever since I have moved into this role, I have enjoyed it immensely as it has been both challenging and rewarding at the same time. I always try to keep myself extremely organised and have a flexible approach to my workload.

I am a proud dad of two lovely kids and love to enjoy my time with my family. Besides my work and family life, it’s all about sport. sport is my passion and hobby. I love to watch football, cricket and tennis. I am a die-hard fan of Manchester United and closely follow English County Championships. I am also a big fan of Roger Federer.

I am a trainer at Realise delivering associate project manager. After working in operations and projects for over 20 years, it is great to share my experiences and knowledge and you can’t beat that feeling of seeing confidence grow in an individual on the programme.

Hi, I’m Raylia and I have been a qualified Tutor-trainer/Assessor for over 16 years delivering teaching and learning within the private and public sectors. During my time working in this field, I have designed and delivered diverse apprenticeship and training programmes covering a variety of topics and subjects. I have guided and trained hundreds of individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, whether this be a qualification, a promotion, new employment or just providing support where needed.

I am an enthusiastic and engaging individual who thrives on the success of others achieving their potential and exceeding their expectations.  I believe learning should be challenging but should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience at the same time.

I have been in work based learning for nearly 15 years and seen many changes, with the move across to standards the most significant and I feel this has added real value to the apprentice programmes we deliver. Being a curriculum lead I have also had the opportunity to create bespoke delivery models so that every apprenticeship journey can be different and suit the learners and their employers in the best possible way and support them to end point assessment.

I am a training and development officer at Realise. I deliver customer service and business administrator standards to a range of different learners in varied work settings, including EE and DWP.

I am a training and development officer for the APM apprenticeship. I work closely with our learners supporting their process. Helping with progress by meeting with them on a regular basis, providing feedback on their written submissions and helping them towards final stages for their EPA, procuring to exploit their full potential.

I have worked in education for many years starting off as a British Sign Language Interpreter to working in apprenticeships, business development and managing a work experience department. I work with level 4 project management apprentices, I enjoy supporting apprentices and seeing them achieve and progress in their careers.

I have a vast experience in trade, entertainment and retail. I took the plunge back in 2007 to become an assessor and never looked back. I qualified as an assessor back in 2007 and I have loved teaching and learning for the last 16 years and the last five years at Realise. Which I have to say has been an experience that I have enjoyed most out of my training career.

I started my career as a management trainee in retail, so I know what it is like to work and do a qualification at the same time.

At the end of my training programme, I progressed from supervisor right through to senior management level. This progression has meant I have learnt and developed a great portfolio of business skills; customer service, business administration, retail and management. I chose to move into apprenticeships in 2007 because I wanted to share my industry knowledge and skills to help develop and support others just starting out in their careers or progressing in their workplace.

I returned back to the retail industry in 2016 as an operations manager to further enhance and enrich my skills and knowledge.

My love of training and development has never left me hence joining Realise in 2022. I enjoy seeing individuals learn and grow in their role and I love being an integral part of their development.

I am a qualified and experienced trainer with 23 years of experience in the industry and almost 15 of these with Realise! With extensive experience in customer service, retail and business administration, working in these sectors since the age of 15. I have a plethora of knowledge and skills to support learners at various stages of their career. Along with my excellent and cheery communication skills, I love supporting people and it is a pleasure to see them succeed in achieving their goals and aspirations.

I have worked in training and development for 13 years, supporting and encouraging people to reach their potential is the part of my job I enjoy the most! I have a wide range of occupational competence built up over 20 years before changing over to the training sector and have stayed with the same company ever since. I love to share my experience and knowledge with others and see them achieve their goals. Realise is a great company to work for, they take care of their staff and their apprentices, and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

I work as a senior training and development officer in the business skills sector and I have over 15 years’ experience within the industry, I have worked here at Realise for just over 3 years. As well as supporting my performance manager, I work on the BT contract delivering customer service and retail management apprenticeships in Openreach and EE.

Hello! With just over 10 years of experience within apprenticeships, from coaching and mentoring new apprentices through their qualifications to implementing new approaches to how programmes are delivered I’ve worked in a variety of different roles. I love apprenticeships and what they can do for those involved in them.  

As a programme manager, I ensure that our learners have the best experience on their course. 

My role here at Realise is to provide leadership to the business skills sector, having 19 years experience in the industry of delivering and managing apprenticeships in this sector. As well as leading five apprenticeship delivery teams for 14 different programmes, I work closely with our employers to ensure we are providing an excellent service that will meet both the learners and employers needs.

I’ve been working in the industry since around 2004, and one of my first roles was as a skills for life tutor, delivering key skills (numeracy and literacy) sessions to groups of motor and hair apprentices. I then became an assessor, and then a performance manager. I enjoy working in this industry as no two days are ever the same!

I have come from 8 years working as a recruitment and sales manager for two large further education recruitment specialist providers. I was responsible for managing a team of 11 recruiting for trainers, lecturers, assessors, end point assessors, learning support assistants all the way up to senior executives. I worked with colleges, independent training providers, local authorities, charities and all of the prisons and youth offender institutes across the UK.
Here at Realise, I have taken my past experiences and have now become one of the sales executives covering our business skills sector. My role includes supporting employers with both finding apprentices for vacancies they may have or signing up current employees for one of the following apprenticeships: customer service, business admin, HR, team leader/supervisor and operations or department manager Level 5.
I am a mother of 2 boys, well teenagers now, and we are a big football household having season tickets at Tottenham Hotspurs (for our sins). Anything football related, you have my attention.
I spend the majority of my life on the side lines of a football pitch watching and supporting my boys and enjoy travelling abroad and seeing the world as well as going on long country walks.

I’m a performance manager with over 20 years management experience. I have been with the company for nine years and prior to working in the training industry I worked in hospitality.

A dedicated Partnership Executive with a rich background in the retail management sector, with a passion for fostering growth and development my role at Realise revolves around engaging with clients and their employees to unlock the full potential of apprenticeship programmes and career progression within current work placements.

I bring a wealth of experience and insight to the table, having navigated the dynamic landscape of retail management for 10 years. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in building meaningful relationships and identifying opportunities for collaborative success.

Having started my further education as an apprentice and working in the sector for 18 years, I am passionate about working with people to provide good quality education and opportunities to learn. I have spent time supporting those operationally and helping to manage the delivery of apprenticeships and now in my current role as Key Account Manager focusing on the strategic development working closely with a number of our major clients to help support them and develop their teams. I am a keen football fan and enjoy coaching both of my son’s team and at amateur level.

Over 20 years ago my career in training started by working with the unemployed including school leavers and adults. From this start point, I have worked in various roles across training including developing new programmes for delivery, assisting to launch a new training provider and the development of a hospitality academy within a hotel. Managing projects has been at the heart of everything I have done and this has helped with the development of the APM apprenticeship. My main role now is to oversee the development and delivery of our associate project management apprenticeship to support apprentices to become efficient, successful project managers.

I am a recent starter to the Realise team. I have been married to Joanne for 37 years and have 3 grown up children who still insist on living at home.

I have had a variety of jobs over the years, butcher, bar manager, cellarman, front of house manager, and was self-trained to become the head chef of a local bar and restaurant.

I have been lucky to have had some very successful catering businesses, since then. In between I decided to take a career break and worked for 13 years in the warehouse and logistics industry, becoming Operations Manager.

Working with people and getting the very best out of them, seeing them develop and have the best opportunities in life is a passion.

Key to me wanting to be part of the Realise team was feeling a connection to the company’s values, which are very important to me. I look forward to the journey ahead.

I am a trained teacher who has 4 years’ experience teaching across secondary & college education. I have a keen interest in mental health & have specialised in SEN/LDD. After spending time teaching basic skills in s PRU, I have now joined Realise where I aim to put my knowledge of teaching across multiple subject areas & learner ability to use by now specialising in delivering functional skills to adult learners.

I have been in training providers settings for about 16 years across South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire doing various roles from recruitment and sales to employability on a wide range of contracts for adult education, apprenticeships, and NEETs. I’m a South Yorkshire lass at heart but moved over to West Yorkshire six years ago and I have never looked back since.

Hello, my name is Sally I am a tutor based in West Yorkshire and work with Multiply for Business. My role is to support businesses and staff with their fears or barriers around numeracy.

I am a qualified health and social care trainer who has 21 years experience within the sector.

I’m a Business development manager covering Liverpool and North Yorkshire. I have been a tutor for almost 10 years now and cover subjects such as customer service, business admin and maths and English. I like the variety of the different courses and dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds. It’s great to see people come to me with little knowledge and then go away with skills that they can use in their everyday lives.

I have worked at Realise for 6 years as a trainer within the hair and barbering sector. I have recenly also taken on the roles of social values champion and safeguarding and wellbeing deputy. I love what I do and have a great passion for hairdressing and also supporting other people. My passion is being able to deliver apprenticeships to learners and seeing them develop from having no knowledge or skills to then thriving in the industry as confident and fully qualified hairdressers and barbers.

I started with Realise in 2021 as a trainer for hairdressing and barbering. I have previously delivered these qualifications at colleges. I love passing on my knowledge and passion to our learners entering the industry. I thoroughly enjoy my role and working with such an amazing team with the same passion as myself.

I started at Realise at the end of 2023. I originally trained as a Primary School Teacher and transitioned into sales. In 2020 I started at a local care home, starting in maintenance, moving into care and then into a leadership role. I began leading training in the home and really enjoy using my teaching degree alongside my experience. I am looking forward to building relationships and helping students progress in their careers.

I’m Rachel, I have over 13 years experience in the Health & Social Care sector doing various roles, from Senior Support Worker, Learning Support Worker, and working in Supported Living.

I have been married for 22 years and have 3 grown up children, I love going on Holidays and have been part of a Morris Dancing Troupe for 36 years, I now help with all the fundraising and teaching the new girls when they start.

I worked in the health and social care sector for 8 years, specialising with supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. I have been a health and social care tutor/trainer for 10 years. I love to see my students progress through their apprenticeships and achieve their career goals and aspirations.

I have worked in care since the age of 18 and then developed into management, this gave me the inspiration to support others to adapt their knowledge and skills. I have worked as an assessor and delivered teaching for a number of years and I love to see individuals fulfil their goals.

I started my career in health and social care many years ago, I began training apprentices in 2016 and then I took some time out to have my three children. I am excited to start back again, my passion is teaching and I am always learning as much as I can for my own development. I enjoy meeting new people and I love helping people become more confident and progress in their job role and themselves!

I have been working for Realise for just under four years. Delivering apprenticeships is the most rewarding job. Giving career opportunities to those who never had a chance or lack confidence. Realise is a very supportive employer that puts the employee’s needs first. As a mum of 2 demanding boys, the job is flexible and works well round my personal life. There is a good balance of personal and work life.

I have worked in many different care settings, working with lots of different people and clients with a wide range of needs. I have worked in adult social care all my life and is something I am very passionate about. I love meting new people and discussing new ideas and strategies. I really feel that as a sector we sometimes get left behind and I love seeing staff progress through qualifications and gain the recognition they deserve.

I have been working in the health and social care sector for over 25 years, beginning as a support worker and making my way to registered manager and then to training and development manager working in various settings.

I have a real passion for supporting health and social care workers to become competent and confident within their roles and providing the high quality of care that their clients deserve. It has been great to join Realise and work with other’s who too have a passion for developing staff.

I have worked at Realise for 2 years but I have been an assessor since 1993. I enjoy working with others and have developed my skills for management and the delivery of functional skills since my employment. I work in the north west health and social care team and have specialised in clinical areas and dementia.

I am part of the fantastic north west health and social care team. I started to work with the company nine years ago and during this time I have seen many changes – all for the better! I have seen the sector grow and develop into what it is today. I currently deliver the level 2 and 3 apprenticeships and I have my qualifications for the quality assurrance position. My specialist subject is the mental health sector of which I have many years experience. I also deliver the functional skills English and maths. Realise has supported me to be the best that I can be and always supports and encourages personal growth.

I have been working in the social care sector since I was 19. Starting off as a care co-ordinator and community carer and progressing onto be a registered manager at 23. I trained to become an assessor after being a manager for five years. I have been assessing now for 8 years with Realise. I love my role being able to support carers to better themselves and the role has definitely evolved in the past eight years!

I am a health and social care assessor and I have been in the training sector completing apprenticeships and delivering learning since October 2013, in this time have also been involved in course development and delivery of learning for a wide variety of subjects. I have been in the care sector since 2004 where I was the homes deputy manager and I have both my assessors and my teaching qualifications.

I have worked in the adult care sector for many years helping people achieve their potentials through training working alongside care and residential homes, domiciliary companies, and care agencies.

I’ve worked for Realise for nine years. I have 15 years experience in health and social Care. I started as an assessor then progressed to lead assessor, then senior training and development officer then performance manager. I absolutely love my role, and have always held a passion for health and social care.

I started my career has a trainee assessor for childcare, and then progressed further into a quality assurer role, progression extended within the company and career progression moved in to performance manager job role. My job role supports a positive delivery of apprenticeship programmes, supporting employers and learners in supporting others to be successful in their career pathway, and support a team, ensuring we provide the best training programmes to tailor individual needs for each employer within the care sector.

I am a qualified manager, assessor, quality assurer and trainer in health and social care and management. I have many years experience in the sector first qualifying as a social worker and then specialising in training. I’ve always been passionate about driving the recognition of the experience and enormous dedication of care staff and managers through qualifications and training. I currently manage a team in the south.

I have over 20 years of experience driving a bus in Oxford and I have also been studying during this time. I am passionate about new technologies, business development and e-Learning. I have a BSc in information systems, a PGCE in post-compulsory education and a postgraduate diploma in e-Learning.

I have been in transport for 14 years, I am a qualified assessor, trainer, and CPC instructor, working on the West Yorkshire contract ‘route to success’.  

After working for many years in management and business development, I decided on a career change and joined Stagecoach South on their brand new apprenticeship scheme, and I became the first person to pass this. I have always been passionate about helping, supporting and developing my colleagues and joined Realise to enable me to pass on the knowledge, skills and behaviours that I have gained to support in creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience to some amazing people.

I’ve worked within the transport sector for the last few years in a control capacity, seeing people succeed and being a part of that journey is very much something I thrive on.

I am a training and development officer at Realise. My job is to offer extensive training within the transport industry (specifically bus and coach). I have years of experience within the industry and pass this on to new drivers who wish to become advanced in this area. I teach various subject matters, from company procedures, how to deliver exceptional customer service and industry law. There is no better feeling as a trainer, than to witness a person develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours and have all that hard work result in a nationally recognised qualification.

I have 19 years’ experience in passenger transport as a driver, mentor, supervisor and trainer. I have worked for Realise as a trainer since January 2020. My role gives me great opportunities to share the knowledge and skills that I have developed over the last 19 years in passenger transport. Working with and supporting new and established drivers to give them the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to become a professional driver in the bus industry.

I have worked within Education since 2020, following 7 years working in the financial sector. My working life began with an apprenticeship – which has enabled me to relate to many learners and support them on their journey.

My role now of an employment support officer is to guide, support, and engage learners with prospective employers to enable them to kickstart their careers within the public transport sector.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching football, spending time with my fiancée and family as well as reading a good book in the sun!

I work here with Realise as a transport sector training and development officer, delivering quite a dynamic and yet informative level 2 professional qualification. Much like other trainers, as a PCV Driver, I have an accumulation of 12 years experience, across different companies, I have worked duties that have covered urban, suburban, rural, and motorway routes. All of this put together with other background experiences, I look forward to assisting in the security and development of job opportunities for new vocational drivers.

I am a highly enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated training professional, specialising in the bus and coach industry. Combining both industry knowledge and training experience to achieve personal and business objectives. A confident and innovative facilitator who successfully encourages others to engage in learning and development at all levels. With over 40 years experience in the bus and coach industry which includes over 20 years as a trainer, I strive to provide the opportunities for each and every learner to succeed.
I was the first trainer in the country to have learners achieve their end point assessment in the passenger transport apprenticeship, something I am immensely proud of.

I started driving local buses in 2006. Since then I have progressed to service manager, revenue protection and finally into training around 2015. I even drove National Express coaches for a while! At Realise I deliver workshops to level 2 bus driver apprentices and support them with their development.

I support new bus drivers through the start of their careers. Everyday is different and it’s great to meet new people and watch them grow in their new roles and progress into greater opportunities.

I joined Realise as a trainer after working as a CPC instructor. I saw the value of the apprenticeship within the industry and wanted to be part of it. I worked closely with learners delivering workshops and providing guidance and support. After a year I became a performance manager, still working closely with learners and my small team.

I joined Realise in 2018. Prior to that I worked for Stagecoach for 12 years, spending 8 years as a driver and 4 years as a trainer. I have been promoted twice since joining and I am now performance manager responsible for 5 regions. I have loved the challenges my new role has presented, developing me not only professionally but as a person too. I am proud to work for Realise and in particular the passenger transport sector.

I’m Kairon, head of transport for Realise and I’ve been with the business for just over six years. I joined as a bid coordinator apprentice back in the summer of 2015 and made the move into operations in January 2019 and I’ve never looked back. My current role is leading and growing the transport team (currently a team of 30), who deliver the passenger transport bus driver level 2 apprenticeship, in partnership with leading transport operators.

I am a qualified trainer assessor and I work within the SE Area, in childcare level 2 and 3.

I’m a trainee trainer assessor here at Realise. Previously, I was a primary school teacher so I have first hand experience with working with children and I like to share my experiences and scenarios with learners to widen their understanding when working with children.

I have worked in the early years sector for 12 years, starting my career as a nursery practitioner, progressing to an out of school club leader and then onto a deputy manager. I have just started my role as a trainee trainer assessor at Realise and I am very passionate to support learners on their journey. I endeavour to support learners using my own knowledge and experience to help them gain the best start in their early year’s role. I find working in the early year’s fun, sometimes challenging yet very rewarding. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends or enjoying long walks and city breaks.

Left school at 16 to go to college where I completed my level 3 CACHE diploma in childcare and education. Once qualified at 18, I secured full time employment in the private day nursery where I trained and over the next 5 years and worked my way to room leader. Left there in 2008 to work in a training provider office doing admin where I gained my assessors award and started to assess childcare, business admin and customer service apprenticeships. Unfortunately, I was made redundant in 2015 and started at TPM where I continued to assess and I have been there ever since until becoming part of the Realise team in October last year.

I started with Realise in October 2023 as the early years & traineeship teacher in the Liverpool area, delivering classroom based and remote teaching. I have worked within the childcare and education sector for the past 26 years, I have worked in children’s day nurseries, and delivered Level 2 and Level 3 childcare apprenticeships, study programmes and traineeships.

Hi I’m Ruth, I live in County Durham with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. I began working in childcare in 2006, having achieved a level 3 qualification in early years. I worked as a nursery nurse in a private day care setting. I continued with my study and achieved a BA honours degree in Children and Young Persons via Leeds Metropolitan University. I then worked as a room manager of all aged rooms throughout the nursery. I have always been keen to move into training/teaching in the adult sector so in 2019 I completed a level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Experience (CAVA). I left my role as a room manager to join a college as an Early Years Assessor. In 2021 I joined a national training provider as an Early Years Training Consultant, delivering level 2, 3 and 5 Apprenticeships. In February 2023, an opportunity arose to join Realise as a Trainer Assessor, so I jumped at the chance. I absolutely love working in the early years sector and could never imagine myself doing anything else. I am passionate about heuristic play and the Curiosity Approach and like sharing these ideas with learners.

Hello, I’m Carla and I am a trainer assessor here at Realise. I have worked in early years for over 12 years, in a private day nursery. I have done various roles such as room leader, special educational needs coordinator, and deputy manager. I have worked as a trainer assessor for over 5 years and find this role very rewarding. I really enjoy supporting apprentices through their apprenticeships and watching them flourish and grow. I have developed my skills by completing further training, including a level 3 award in education and training, and level 4 in internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practice.

Hi, I’m Leanna and I am a Trainee Assessor at Realise. I have just over 12 years of experience working in Early Years settings, starting as an apprentice myself and working my way up to achieve my Level 4 and become Room Leader & Safeguarding Lead. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, reading, thrift shopping, and cooking.

I’m Sarah and I have worked in early years for the last 20 years, starting off when my children were born, as a childminder. My business grew to employing assistants and having a number of student placements from the local secondary schools and colleges. After a number of years I decided to have a change and worked in a hospital, mainly on the children’s wards. I then went to pre-school and day nursery settings. I have worked as a safeguarding officer and as a SENCo in these roles. I have always enjoyed training others so moved over to assessing in 2022 after gaining my assessing and training qualifications. I’m also currently doing a degree which keeps me busy in my spare time!

I have been working in the childcare industry for over 15 years now, where I was working in nurseries. I have lots of experience in early years and have achieved many qualifications. I love being an assessor to pass on my experience and knowledge to learners who are doing the qualifications in early years. It is the most rewarding job and I have a great team in the north west who support me as well.

I’m one of the early years trainer assessors here at Realise. After over 20 years in nursery management I enjoy working with settings, forming good working relationships and watching the apprentices grow in confidence and achieving their goals.

I have worked in the childcare sector for 18 years, working my way through different roles. I found that I really enjoyed working with the apprentices and carrying  out training for new colleagues in the company I worked for. I completed my A1 in assessing and my level 3 in teaching and education and found myself a trainee role at Realise in June 2022. I have now qualified as a trainer assessor, and I love working here. The company is so supportive and has taught me so much in a short time.

I have volunteered and worked in the childcare and education sector since the age of 16. During this time, I have received my degree in primary education and gained my early years professional status. Before starting my position with Realise in June 2022, I worked as a preschool manager for four years. I do miss supporting my children and families, but it is nice to get to see our up-and-coming early years professionals do an amazing job of supporting children in their own settings.

Hi, I’m Shrina. I have been working in the early years sector for over 12 years. I have a passion for early years and passing my skills and knowledge on to others.

I started working as an apprentice in a private nursery in London, later progressing to a nursery manager in Bristol. I have always loved teaching and mentoring staff who were completing their qualifications. After having my third child, I wanted to do something different but still in early years. This led me to my role as a trainee trainer assessor at Realise. The idea of me mentoring, supporting, and moulding the next generation of Early years apprentices, excites me. 

I am Vicky. I have been working in the early years sector for 15 years. I have always had a passion for early years and teaching. I worked in a private nursery setting for 12 years, progressing through a variety of roles; Nursery assistant , early years practitioner, room leader and deputy manager. I completed my BA HONS in early years and education and then began to mentor others completing the course, which I had a great passion for which led me to begin my assessing career in 2017. I enjoy supporting others to develop and progress in a career they are so passionate about, as well as working with the settings managers to work together to support the learners achieve.

I have been working in early years for over 12 years, in good and outstanding nurseries. I began assessing in April 2022 and I feel the most rewarding part of the job is that I get to support learners to flourish and develop within their own role.

My name is Emily and I’m a trainer assessor here at Realise. I have over 10 years of experience working across the early years sector and 6 years experience in assessing. Early years is a true passion of mine as it is such a vital time for children’s all round development to gain the best start in life. I’m Megan, a trainer assessor within the early years, I have worked in this sector for 5 years! Beginning my career by completing a level 2 and level 3 qualifications with Realise, before deciding that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and use my experience to support them!

I have been working at Realise for over 13 years. In this time, I qualified to become a trainer assessor.

I deliver level 2 and level 3 qualifications. I strive to help support each learner to achieve their qualifications and help them to achieve their future goals to become good practitioners that are proud to work alongside children in their care.

My passion is knowing how children learn and keeping them safe. I hope to pass on that passion. I am always learning new information to help me to update myself to become a good trainer and I feel I am a good team player when supporting my colleagues.

I have been a qualified childcare trainer assessor for 15 years, prior to this I gained 10 years’ experience as a practitioner as well as management in early years. I have a degree in education as well as quality assurance qualifications and more recently qualified to deliver first aid.

My name is Tracey King, and I am a trainer assessor for Realise.  I have worked in early years for 24+ years, initially starting out as a registered childminder before moving on to an early years development worker role and spending some time working for children’s services.  I am an experienced early years tutor and assessor.  I am always in awe at the enthusiasm early years worker’s have for their role.  My favourite quote is ‘If you can give your child only one gift, let it be enthusiasm’ – Bruce Barton.

I am into my 13th year as a Trainer Assessor, i have experience of managing 2 private day nurseries and have a lot f passion for childcare. I want to be able to share that passion with apprentices and help to teach and guide them into being .competent practitioners. I am also a qualified Paediatric First Aid trainer and deliver this alongside the standard qualifications.

I’m a qualified childcare trainer who has 10 years’ experience within the industry. I have a degree in childhood studies and I spent three years prior to that working in a nursery working my way up from nursery nurse to deputy manager before making the leap into education – where I’ve never looked back. I love supporting others to achieve their goals within childcare.

I am a Childcare Trainer with over 22 years experience in Childcare. I have had varied roles and experience including; working in a school, private day nursery, special educational needs support and Children’s & Young People’s Services before becoming an Assessor. I have been assessing for 12 years, I specialise as a Safeguarding Deputy.

Starting my career as a room leader and working my way up to a nursery manager. I have now taken a leap into assessing and have a great passion for this! Seeing the learner’s development and the real impact they make within the sector is amazing.

I am a passionate learner and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others, so teaching is a perfect career for me! I have worked in the early years sector for over 25 years, starting as a newly qualified practitioner, nannying in London (spreading my wings and having fun!) over the years, moving on to more senior roles in early years settings, and eventually managing nurseries. 10 years ago I decided I wanted to change course and moved into post-16 education. Through hard work and dedication, I completed my studies and started working in the early years apprenticeship sector. I am a childcare assessor. Out of work, I enjoy my time with my children and family. We have started playing more board games now, going on longer walks and all the activities children attend, football etc. For my personal relaxing time, I like watching Netflix or socialising with friends.

My name is Sarah, I have previously worked in early years for 9 and a half years in a private day nursery, working up to deputy manager there. I am looking forward to my journey with Realise and supporting learners to achieve their goals.

I am a qualified trainer assessor for childcare. My experience is within early years settings, where I was a nursery manager, room leader and deputy. My experience, gained in the last 25 years, has given me the passion and commitment to give something back and be that trainer for my specialist subjects.

I have come a long way in my current role, my confidence has grown with Realise, I am delivering many webinars across the early years educator and teaching assistant standards. I always look forward to seeing my learners going into gateway and achieving their apprenticeships which makes me feel like a very proud trainer when they do.

I have always had a passion for supporting and teaching others, I started working in a nursery, my first role was as an assistant I was able to become fully qualified and work my way up throughout the nursery to management.

I enjoyed each and every responsibility that came my way, as I also pride myself on my work and progress I make along the way. I have worked with children 0-5 years for 8 years I have been teaching for 5 years in total now. I love seeing what I teach being put into practice by our learners, seeing them achieve and move to new levels makes me feel like I have achieved a new level myself.

I started my early years journey back in 1998, when I joined a voluntary committee of my daughter’s pre-school. I later chaired the committee before completing my level 3, as a work-based qualification, and then my degree and early years teacher status, as I worked my way up to manage the setting.

I moved over to teaching and assessing early years apprenticeships back in 2013 and my passion about people and supporting their development and learning (whether young or old) is still at the heart of what I do every day.  As an ex-manager, I know how hard it is to find good reliable staff that understand what it is to be an effective practitioner or educator, so this has also become my mission.  Listening to employers’ needs is where I start the process.

Before working for Realise, I had been nursery based for over 7 years. I have worked in everything from large, 250 children, work-place nurseries, to small private nurseries with 6 babies to a room. Before this I worked as a youth and children’s worker in a community centre. I am a qualified early years teacher with a passion for infant mental health, gaining a MA from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Mental Health Trust.

I am the head of childcare and education at Realise. I have 26 years’ experience in the sector, ranging from early years to working with pre-16 learners. I am also the lead safeguarding deputy for Realise which is a subject I am really passionate about.

I have worked in apprenticeship recruitment and sales for over 8 years and thoroughly enjoy talking to others about how the benefits of apprenticeships can support them as individuals and as a growing business.

I am the business development manager for the early years and education sector at Realise. I have been with the company almost 10 years. I have 22 years’ experience in the sector. I have a real passion for apprenticeships as I started my own career journey at the age of 16 on an apprenticeship and would not be where I am today without this.

I am the Operations Manager for early years and education here at Realise. I have 22 years of experience working within the early years sector ranging from working with children in nurseries to managing a large day nursery. I joined the company as a trainer assessor and progressed through to performance manager for the East Midlands team and more recently progressed onto the Operations Manager role supporting the head of sector. I have been part of the company now for four years and I continue to enjoy every moment of working with an amazing team to provide the best possible teaching and learning to our apprentices and thankful for all the opportunities I have had.

I am the Performance Manager for the West Midlands within early years and education.  I have been in my current position for 9 years.  Prior to this, I have been an apprenticeship manager, team leader and assessor for early years.  I started my career in early years many years ago by completing my NNEB qualification in 1995 and I have previously managed two-day nurseries.  Supporting the development of future practitioners within early years is very important to me, the team, and our sector.  Working with a dedicated team to help individuals to grow, develop and achieve new skills and knowledge is pivotal to our role as educators

I am the Performance Manager in Yorkshire, Humber and Nottingham within the childcare and education sector.
I initially started my journey with ESG as we were then known, as a trainee trainer assessor in hair, barbering and beauty, after that through a secondment opportunity I became performance manager. I then moved to childcare where I have been in my current role for the last six years and continue to love the role and the passion within our sector. I have been part of the company for 9 years and I continue to enjoy every moment and I am thankful for the opportunities I have had during that time and the people I have met and worked with that have supported me to develop my own knowledge and skills as well as progressing within the business.

I am a passionate and motivated trainer who loves to help others become the best that they can be. I am a qualified teacher and have worked in all aspects of the childcare sector from being a nanny to nursery settings. I love developing curriculum and supporting learning as part of my job role!

Hi I’m Jack, a 22 year old from Harrogate. My favourite hobby is football, I play six-aside, three times a week and I am a season ticket holder for Sheffield United and have been supporting them for 16 years.

I am a qualified quality assurer who has 23 years experience working in the industry. I was an assessor for six years before being promoted to a quality assurer which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have worked for Realise for 17 years, I am currently completing my operational departmental manager level 5 apprenticeship and this has allowed me to develop my knowledge and skills further within my role.

I live close to Manchester and have worked within the adult education industry for the last 14 years, two of those with Realise. I currently deliver operational departmental manager level 5 and I am the curriculum lead for this sector. However, I am just about to start my new role as a quality assurer for adult education and look forward to this new challenge!

Passionate about all aspects of learning and development and love seeing how technology is driving the improvement of the learner and educator experience in education. I have successfully worked in learning and development and vocational education in several large organisations across different sectors and I am also an experienced people manager.

I look after the quality for the business skills sector. I have been part of work based learning for over 12 years covering many different sectors and roles.

I have various experience over the last number of years working with large national training providers and colleges. I am employed as the quality manager and look after the growing transport sector, providers and employers who work with us. Very motivated person who loves to inspire our teams to improve and teach our new teachers and trainers how to be outstanding.

I have worked within further education for around 20 years, starting as a business admin and customer service assessor at the age of 19. I worked my up within the industry into quality assurer, team leader, head of operations and finally quality business partner roles. Working within the education sector, especially apprenticeships is amazing as the positive impact that we have on the lives of our learners can be immeasurable. I am a quality assurer in health and social care. I have worked here for more than seven years, starting as a trainer assessor in 2013. I have worked in the health and social care sector in some capacity since leaving school in 1986, qualifying as a registered nurse (learning disability) in 1992 and have been working in the work based learning industry since 2003. I am also currently working towards my level 5 apprenticeship in learning and development.

My name is Kate Ellis I’m senior internal quality assurer, I have worked at Realise for some time (over 10 years). I have worked in adult education since I was 21, initially working in the health and social care sector. I am mum to Pembee aged 4 and step mum to Erol 19, I love cooking and gardening and spending time with family.

Following a career in childcare working in a variety of settings, I have been working for Realise for sixteen years and in this current role for eleven years, building a strong support network for our learners. We have such a variety of support we offer whether it’s for issues of homelessness, mental ill health, child protection, and many others, we always try to offer a choice to meet the individual needs of our learners.

I have a fantastic team of deputies who work with me, all trained in safeguarding, prevent duty and mental health first aid.

I deliver training in all things related to safeguarding and prevent duty too.

I am passionate about giving support when it really matters, and I believe we can support our learners during those times when things happen to help them to achieve and reach their full potential.

I have recently returned to Realise in January having worked for another training provider for the last 18 months. I have worked in training for several years but my vocational area was nursing. I live with my husband and two recently adopted rescue dogs. I like reading, music and history.

I have been in the hair and barbering industry for over 21 years. I have always had a real passion for teaching with quality at the heart of what I do. It’s the best feeling seeing the end result for a learner, after working with them throughout their journey.
I am currently the lead trainer for our new advanced and creative hairdressing level 3, it’s an amazing qualification and I’m proud to be delivering it and to have played a part in developing it!

I am the enrolment officer at Realise who gets our learners enrolled onto their preferred courses. I deal with the adult education courses which are for people who wish to progress into work or progress in work. I start their learner journey by guiding them onto the best course and giving them all information they need to be successful on the course.

I am a member of the learner recruitment team. I have five years of experience in the industry. I started out as a coordinator for the contact sales team then moved across to the recruitment team after a couple of years which I absolutely love. I have recruited for the transport team, small businesses and national accounts. Within my current role I recruit for mainly business skills and hairdressing, I also recruit for health and social care, childcare and large levy accounts. I am the longest serving member of the recruitment team. I love the variety of my role as every day is different. I am very much customer service focussed and my candidates always come first.

I joined the company in 2012 and currently working as a claims advisor in the sector support team. I process all claims and admin activities on apprenticeship programmes. I have recently completed diploma for managers through Realise, as I also provide support, give guidance, and train the team.

I have over 19 years industry experience, predominantly in the administration, data and funding divisions, working my way up through the ranks carrying out various roles to get to where I am today. I have gained apprenticeships in business administration, customer service and management and I am an advocate for the knowledge and opportunities they provide!

Both myself and my team share the same passion and drive to succeed as a high performing administration and support function, and I am proud of the hard work they achieve on a daily basis!

I joined Realise in 2021 as sector support administrator apprentice completing my business administrator level 3 qualification. I still work for the sector support team but now as a claims advisor processing the learners from start to end of their apprenticeship journeys. I like the flexibility of the role and enjoy developing new skills on an on-going basis as the role and the company grow.

I process claims and support with everything for our adult education programmes and traineeships. I am coming up to 17 years in the industry with six being at Realise. I have gained knowledge and experience across different funding programmes and around awarding bodies used for certification. I enjoy learning new skills and developing and have recently started our in house award in training and education qualification.

I originally started working for Realise (STL back then) in 2004 at the age of 17 as an office junior and worked my way up completing 4 qualifications, currently on my 5th. After the birth of my 2nd child in 2017, I decided to take a break and focus on my young family and didn’t return to work.

But then in 2019, I re-applied for a job at Realise as a temp, covering maternity leave of an auditor. As you can see, I am still here as I then secured a permanent position as a funding and assurance advisor on the data and compliance team.

I have worked with the company since 2012 when i started as an apprentice employment liaison officer, working primarily on the work programme. I have had numerous roles within the company but have spent the majority of my time here working in administration and in compliance In my current role I administer the starts and awards process for the sector, support clearing withhelds, handle queries and process learner change of circumstances.

I work as part of the sector support team for Realise, mostly working with the childcare and hairdressing sectors. My daily roles include processing our learner’s apprenticeship journeys onto our system from beginning to end. I have been part of Realise for over six years now and enjoy everyday due to having such a varied role!

Hi everyone, I joined Realise from FW Solutions in September 22. In January 23, I joined the data and compliance Team. I previously worked for FW Solutions as the office manager for 3 ½ years carrying out all the admin and finance duties related to apprenticeships. Prior to that I worked for North Yorkshire County Council Education department for 15 years as the office manager of a primary school. When I am not working my husband and I are season ticket holders at York City FC and regularly attend heavy rock concerts.

My teaching experience dates back to 1998, starting in Tanzania, East Africa. Then, after a successful career as a lawyer, I spent the last ten years travelling the globe and teaching in South Korea, China, and Saudi Arabia. After returning to the UK, I joined Realise where I work as a functional skills tutor. I’m really motivated to help our learners to build up their abilities which allows them to progress in their chosen careers.

I have eight years of experience as an ICT teacher at a secondary school and I have also been a private online tutor for maths and English. I am a mum to 4 beautiful children who are forever keeping me on my toes. In my spare time I love reading and playing badminton.

I’ve worked in the further education sector, been head of faculty for both early years and health and social care, worked as external verifier to meet national standards for early years and have had educational materials published. I now support the childcare learners with their functional skills and the learner is at the heart of everything I do, tailoring the delivery to meet the learners needs so they can achieve their exams in maths and English, building confidence in every individual to develop skills and life opportunities.
