As an unemployed 26-year-old living with his family, Pocholo was open to finding a new career but was unsure in what sector. He then discovered a Realise course which has led him to full time employment with opportunities for career progression.
Currently working as a Learner Engagement Coordinator in the Adult Skills team in the West Yorkshire area. I interact with different companies, work with local stakeholders and job centres in order to provide courses where the employer guarantees job interviews. It’s been great working with Realise so far, interacting with different people from both outside and inside the company has been a welcome change which was the complete opposite of what my old job was. Everyone’s been super helpful, Dale and Emma who are showing me the ropes have been extremely patient as I get more comfortable with my role. The tutor team have made the workplace environment feel more fun with their team spirit and lastly my line manager keeps the team together and motivated as we go through the busy education season.
