We have designed the programme in partnership with specialist project management practitioners who work across the public, private and third sector on a daily basis supporting and managing large, complex projects.

This means that you’ll be provided with real industry knowledge and content with up to date thinking and best practice that is used by professionals today to help you to be an expert project manager too.

Please note the Associate Project Management Apprenticeship is suitable for people already working in a project management role or managing projects daily within similar roles. Unfortunately if you are not working in this capacity, we won’t be able to accept you onto the course.

Is this course right for you?

You must already work on projects daily or be working in a project manager role to be eligible for this course. Whether you’re just starting in your project management career or have some years of experience under your belt though, our Level 4 Associate Project Manager course will provide you with access to a wealth of knowledge that will underpin the development of your professional skills.

It’s essential you’re involved in projects on a daily basis to be able to apply the learning and development of the programme to your day-to-day activities.

The programme covers the theory, skills, and behaviours of professional project management to help you succeed in your role. We have created a programme that includes time to understand the principles of structured project management and applying them to real project situations within your workplace so that learning goes beyond theory and is much more practical and useful in helping you develop your career.

I am so excited to have achieved our accreditation with the Association for Project Management! I’m so proud of the work that has been done over the last 12 months, and of the team that delivers the Level 4 apprenticeship that it was an absolute pleasure to be able to showcase this and I can’t wait to continue that hard work in order to achieve the APM’s ‘gold standard’ which is our next goal!

Hello! With just over 10 years of experience within apprenticeships, from coaching and mentoring new apprentices through their qualifications to implementing new approaches to how programmes are delivered I’ve worked in a variety of different roles. I love apprenticeships and what they can do for those involved in them.

As a programme manager, I ensure that our learners have the best experience on their course.

I am a qualified teacher and worked in schools for 20 years, both secondary and primary. I reached the dizzy heights of Headteacher and moved 4 schools from Special Measures to Good during the final 6 years.

I now use my skills to develop the project management skills of my learners, who come from a wide range of backgrounds. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing them flourish and bloom during the course of their studies with us and their work placements.
I only work part time now, so I have plenty of opportunity to get out and about in the Staffordshire countryside with my beautiful little dog, Truffle.
