About the course

Strong leadership plays a vital role in delivering safe, effective and high-quality care. Developing confident team leaders and supervisors helps health and social care organisations improve communication, support staff retention, strengthen workplace culture and deliver better outcomes for the people they support.

The Level 3 Diploma for Team Leaders and Supervisors is designed for individuals working in health and social care who are moving into leadership or supervisory roles and want to develop the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to lead teams effectively in care settings.

This leadership and management qualification supports learners to build confidence in areas such as team leadership, communication, performance management, operational planning, problem-solving and professional behaviours. Learning is practical, workplace-focused and designed to be applied directly within health and social care environments.

Delivered through group cohort learning, the programme gives learners the opportunity to develop alongside others in similar roles while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will strengthen their ability to support teams, manage challenges, promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality person-centred care.

This programme is ideal for care providers looking to develop leadership capability from within, support succession planning and strengthen the confidence and competence of frontline leaders.

Funding is available for eligible learners in West Yorkshire.
