This course is aimed at those who are wanting to work in construction in England and require the CSCS green card to do so.

Eligibility:

• Unemployed or Employed
• Over the age of 19
• Have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
• Have the right to live and work in the UK

What you will learn:
This course is packed with exciting and educational content.

Topics covered include:

• Knowledge of common hazards and risks in a construction environment
• Safe manual handling practices
• Working safely at height
• Working safely around plant and machinery
• The importance of effective teamwork and communication in ensuring safe working practices are followed in the construction industry
• Knowledge of local job and employment opportunities

You must complete all days of training to gain your CSCS green card.

How you will learn:
The course is run in-person with engaging tutor led sessions in a classroom setting, it is designed to be interactive and focus on the needs of the individual learners through collaborative teaching methods.

After attending and completing the course you will receive:
Your CSCS green card
Health And Safety Awareness Level 1
Equality and Diversity Awareness Level 1
Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Level 1
Knowledge of local jobs and employment opportunities
Support from Clarion Futures including support in finding work, e-learning and interview practice
