About the Course:

You will be given information on being a professional driver within the passenger transport industry including myth-busting, "a day in the life of a bus driver". You will be introduced to Theory Test Pro so you can make a start with preparing for licence acquisition.

You will also undertake additional bespoke customer service training around the job role and certificated on completion, alongside this you will be supported on ensuring your CV is fit for application and interview support.

As part of the course, you will also receive a free medical and assistance with completing your provisional licence application.

Eligibility:

• Unemployed
• Aged 19 or over
• Live in Oldham Rochdale or Bury
• Have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
• Have the right to live and work in the UK
• Car driver with a category B licence
• Able to pass the DVLA medical (included as part of the course)

• The transition you need to make from car to bus
• Theory test training
• Communication skills and styles
• Employability skills, e.g. CV preparation, job search
• How to start and progress your bus driving career
