About the course:Please note this free course is available in certain areas due to funding. We also offer an equivalent apprenticeship which is available throughout England.
Whilst on the diploma course you’ll receive a wide variety of learning opportunities to get the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours needed in your role so that you’re able to successfully complete the programme and progress in your career.
You’ll be supported by our highly skilled, enthusiastic and passionate expert team helping you to develop into a confident and skilled care/support worker.
The learning will be relevant to what you do in day-to-day tasks so that you’re able to effectively carry out a range of tasks and be responsible for activities within the care environment.
Training is delivered both on-the-job and off-the-job. You’ll receive workplace face-to-face teaching and observations as well as joining webinars, virtual one-to-one sessions, completing online learning and independent tasks. Your trainer will support you every month with a teaching and learning session and be on hand at all times so that you get the very best support.

Throughout the programme we will meet with you to ensure you understand your programme, to report on your development and progress as well as making sure your programme requirements are being met.

- Statutory and legal requirements including Health & Safety Communication

FAQs
The level 2 adult care worker apprenticeship is an apprenticeship programme designed for those working in the care sector who have passed their probation.
Typically it takes 6 months to complete this level 2 adult care worker qualification.
Typical job titles and roles that are suitable for this programme include: Care Assistant, Care Worker, Support Worker, Relief Team Worker, Key Worker in Domiciliary Services or Day Services and Home Care Support Worker.
If you don’t have level 1 English and Maths we’ll help you to achieve this before reaching end point assessment and get you ready to take the test for level 2. Our team of highly skilled specialist English and Maths Tutors can provide additional support if needed.
The introduction to care level 1 qualification can be a great launch pad into an adult carer role. The progression would then be on to the level 2 adult care worker apprenticeship.
