The NCFE CACHE Level 1 Award in an Introduction to Early Years Settings is a short, introductory qualification designed for adults aged 19+ who are considering a career in early years or would like to build a basic understanding of childcare practice.
This qualification provides an introduction to working with children from birth to 5 years, covering key topics such as the value of play, the roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers, and the importance of working with families and the local community.

Assessment

This course is fully funded for eligible learners aged 19+ through Adult Skills Fund (ASF) funding in South Yorkshire, subject to eligibility criteria.
