About the course
This course will help you gain confidence, essential digital skills, and employability knowledge. Through practical activities and reflective sessions, you will explore career goals, learn workplace expectations, understand employment rights, and develop a professional CV.

The course also introduces emerging technologies, including AI, and provides hands-on strategies for job searching and career progression.

You will work towards two nationally recognised qualifications that support both employability and progression into work or further training.

It is particularly suited to individuals with limited recent experience of employment or education and offers supportive guidance with CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, and essential digital skills.

How you will learn
This course is delivered in-person in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, with tutors providing guidance, encouragement, and tailored support to help you progress with confidence.

Eligibility
You must be a Greater Manchester resident, be aged 19 or over on 31 August 2026, be ordinarily resident in the UK, and have the right to live and work in the UK.

You must be unemployed or earning below £26,800 per year. If you are employed and earn above this threshold, you may still be eligible for your first full Level 2 qualification.
