Our Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs is for anyone who wants to better understand and support children and young people with a variety of needs.
Whether you’re already working in education in roles like nursery nurse, teaching assistant, childcare worker or play worker, or you’re looking to step into the sector for the first time, this course will give you the knowledge and confidence to help every child thrive.

The course is run in-person with engaging tutor led sessions in a classroom setting.
The programme is designed to be interactive and different to traditional methods of teaching.
There’s no staring at a PowerPoint presentation, instead we will focus on the needs of the individual learners through collaborative teaching methods.
Eligibility:
- Aged 19 or over as of 31st August 2025
- Unemployed or Employed and earning under £35,864.40
- Ordinarily Resident in UK
- Have the Right to Live and Work in UK
