Eligibility:
- Unemployed or employed and earn under £25,000
- Are over 19 years old
- Have lived in the UK for the last 3 years

- Understanding mental health – key terms, definitions and the impact of mental ill health
- Recognising signs and symptoms – identifying conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder and eating disorders
- Mental health legislation – understanding UK laws and policies supporting mental health
- Roles and responsibilities of a mental health first aider – assessing emergencies and taking appropriate action
- Crisis management – contacting emergency services, offering support and ensuring safety
- Building a supportive environment – promoting mental health awareness in workplaces and communities
