Develop advanced knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact supporting children and young people with SEND.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Special Educational Needs

About the course
The SEND Level 3 course provides a strong foundation for individuals looking to work in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support. Designed for learners with a passion for inclusive education, the programme develops in-depth knowledge of child development, SEND-specific strategies, relevant legislation, communication needs, and person-centred approaches.

Learners will explore how to effectively support children and young people with additional needs and make a real difference in their educational and personal development.

Delivered through interactive teaching, case study analysis, practical tasks, and collaborative projects, the course encourages learners to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. On completion, learners will have the confidence and understanding needed to progress into SEND support roles in schools or care settings, or to continue their learning at a higher level.
