About the course

The Early Years Leadership Excellence programme develops the next generation of early years leaders who can think strategically, lead people effectively and drive high-quality practice across their settings.

Is this course right for you?

This course is designed for managers, senior leaders, area managers and accidental leaders alike. It provides practical, reflective and challenging development through workshops, coaching-style  drop-ins and applied leadership tasks. 

How will learning take place?

All learning is delivered as workshop sessions, coaching sessions with the tutor throughout the duration of the course, group drop in and one-to-one coaching sessions. This way learners have the best experience possible with flexibility to manage their workload and the course requirements.
 
What’s covered in the course?

There are 15 sessions covered in this course from Introduction to Programme: Leadership vs Management to The Employee Journey: Recruit, Retain and Exit with Confidence and many more. Assessment is varied and authentic, combining written work, presentations and evaluations that  demonstrate real leadership impact in practice.
 
How is the course funded?
Places on this course cost £1,300 plus VAT

Eligibility

Mandatory Level 3 qualifications.
