By providing a balance between education; encouragement and fun, they believe that they offer a safe environment for children to express themselves and enjoy their early years.As an early years apprentice, your duties will include;
• Carry out daily care routines to support children's health, wellbeing, and development.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their next steps in learning.
• Build positive relationships with parents and maintain effective communication.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe and secure nursery environment.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and open days.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
We require a team member who:
- has a genuine passion and enjoyment for working with children
- has a commitment to safeguarding and will support the nursery in its high standard of safety and safeguarding (an enhanced DBS check will be required)
- is willing to work as part of a team
- has a friendly personality with a flexible and calm approach

Future Prospects
We can offer progression into a full time Nursery Practitioner role following successful completion of a childcare qualification.Progression routes include; Room Leader, Floor Leader, Deputy and Nursery Managers.
Other Information
Applicants should be prepared to provide or undergo Paediatric First Aid training, Safeguarding and Child Protection training, and complete a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
