Forest Friends Nursery is looking for a warm and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice who is passionate about working with children and keen to undertake a Level 3 Early Years qualification. To be considered for this role, you must have a genuine love for children and a nurturing approach. As an Apprentice Nursery Educator, you will be part of a friendly team, responsible for a group of key children, planning and completing observations, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. You’ll be expected to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework and help create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment. Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues is central to this role. Our nursery offers tailored development programmes for each age group, featuring creative activities such as language learning, early computer skills, and emergent reading and writing to support children’s growth and prepare them for their next educational steps. - GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
