Vacancy Detail

We are working hard to create a well qualified, dedicated, passionate and fun team of individuals who can support each other to be the best practitioners that they can be. The role is permanent, 38 hours over 5 days a week – here comes the great part – apprentices will have 4 days in their normal role and 1 day ‘off the job’. This could include working in a different room gaining experience, taking part in exciting training/webinars, having meetings with assessors or working from home to complete coursework.

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
• Manage daily operations within the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
• Support children's individual needs and encourage their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Drive to various locations as required for training sessions.

  • Maths and English but not essential

Other Information

This is a role that will require you to complete your full and relevant qualification in Early Years with the support of our training provider and ourselves.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
