Are you enthusiastic about working in childcare and eager to gain a Department for Education-recognised Early Years qualification? At Happy Days Nurseries, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Early Years Practitioner Apprentices. In this role, you’ll be mentored and supported as you help create a safe, stimulating environment for children, in line with the EYFS and our Happy Days ethos. You’ll be responsible for promoting children’s welfare and safety, supporting the planning and delivery of purposeful play activities, and working closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to meet each child’s individual needs. You’ll also help children make healthy life choices, support them through key transitions, and carry out respectful care routines such as feeding, nappy changing, and dental care. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll actively engage in professional development, meet training deadlines, and work with a dedicated mentor to build your knowledge, skills, and confidenQualifications required
- GCSE's in Maths and English at grade 3 or equivalent

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
