Vacancy Detail

Rainbow House Nursery is located in Liverpool and reflects the rich backgrounds and cultures of our local area and beyond.

You will assist in planning and delivering engaging, purposeful play activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to support children’s learning, including their literacy, numeracy, and language development. Working closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies, you will help ensure that each child’s individual needs are met while promoting healthy lifestyle choices through play.

Daily responsibilities

• To Support learning through play
• Help set up activities
• Support children with personal routines
• Support communication skills
• Follow all safeguarding policies
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
• Work under supervision and guidance
• Complete all qualification requirement

Qualifications required

  • GCSE grades 4 and above in Maths and English is desired but not essential

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
