The Wendover Day Nursery, part of the CC Nurseries Group, provides high-quality childcare for children aged 12 weeks to five years. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work under the guidance of an experienced nursery management team and a forward-thinking Early Years Director. As an apprentice, you will support the safety, learning, and development of children while building strong partnerships with families. Your responsibilities will include planning and leading engaging activities aligned with the company curriculum, acting as a key person for one or more children, maintaining developmental records, and ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. You will also be expected to follow safeguarding procedures, attend staff meetings and training, and uphold the nursery’s high standards at all times. - Grade 4/C in English and Maths preferred.
- To ideally hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working in a childcare setting for 12 months is preferable, however, we are prepared to take on newly childcare qualified staff to further train and develop

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
