At Gooseberry Bush, our dedicated team of childcare professionals works hard to provide every child with opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge during their time with us. We are currently seeking a Level 3 Apprentice to join our team. The role involves planning and organising engaging activities, supervising and observing children aged 0 to 5, supporting their independence and social development, and inspiring them to explore the world around them. Responsibilities also include fostering positive relationships, meeting care needs such as feeding and changing nappies, and maintaining a clean, stimulating learning environment. Qualifications required

  • GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.

  • Ability to commit for 12–18 months of training and assessments
  • Drive for continued development.

Skills required

  • Some knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.
  • Some knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commitment to working effectively with young children and families
