Realise has welcomed two experienced professionals to its growing Health and Social Care team as the training provider continues to expand its work across the sector.
Kieran Baines has joined as Head of Sales, while Vic Wood has taken on the role of Marketing Manager.
Kieran brings strong sector experience to the role, having previously worked with organisations including Athena Care and Barchester Healthcare. His background in the care sector gives him a deep understanding of the workforce challenges facing providers and the role training and development can play in addressing them.
Speaking about his new role, Kieran said:
“I’m delighted to have joined Realise. I’m always a little sceptical when businesses talk about culture, but it was quickly clear that Realise is a fantastic, supportive place to work.
“We’re building a strong sales team within health and social care, growing from two people to five in a short space of time. It’s a really exciting time for the sector, particularly with the forthcoming reforms to training and apprenticeships.
“Our ambition is to become the go-to training provider for health and social care organisations. That means being forward-thinking, responsive and adaptable to what employers need.”
Vic Wood joins Realise with extensive marketing experience across multiple sectors, including construction, higher education and social care. Prior to joining Realise, she was Head of Marketing at Visiting Angels UK, a provider of personalised home care services.
In her role at Realise, Vic will focus on strengthening the organisation’s presence across the health and social care sector while supporting employers to develop and grow their workforce through high-quality training.
She said:
“There’s a real sense of collaboration within the team. Everyone is focused on finding new ways to support employers and deliver training that genuinely makes a difference.
“Health and social care organisations are facing ongoing workforce challenges, and high-quality training has a huge role to play in attracting people into the sector and helping existing staff progress in their careers.”
