Your Route to Success
At the end of the four days, you’ll:
> be better prepared for the next stage of practical PCV driver training> have a clear picture of the role and opportunities available
> develop confidence, resilience, and communication skills
> be ready to move on to hands-on bus driving training in Stage 2.
Where will you train?
We deliver Stage 1 training at a variety of locations across West Yorkshire, including the newly refurbished Transport Training Academy is based at Lodge Garage in Gomersal, Cleckheaton, where Stage 2 training takes place. Facilities include classrooms and a breakout area – and this is where our Realise busses live too!
Route to Success is funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
Who can apply?
Looking for a fresh start? Whether you want to return to work or change career paths, this programme puts you firmly in control of your future. You just need to be:
- over 19 years old
- living in West Yorkshire
- a car driver with a full UK driving licence (Category B)
That’s all it takes; we will teach you the rest.
