Bright Stars apprentices to shine with Realise

Bright Stars entrust Realise to be their exclusive training provider across England.

Exclusive partnership

A rapidly-growing nursery group has appointed Realise as its exclusive training provider for its 92 settings in England.

Bright Stars Nursery Group has more than 120 nurseries in its portfolio across the UK and Ireland.

Traditionally, the group has used several training providers for their scores of apprenticeship programmes, but it will now transition to using Realise as its exclusive provider in England.

Quality and excellence

Bright Stars has grown dramatically through acquisition over recent years but uniquely protects the individuality and ethos of each nursery as they move into the group.

Stephen Booty, chairman of Bright Stars, said: “We are very diligent in our research and the nurseries we seek to acquire must clearly meet the high standards that we look for, both in terms of quality and excellence.

“Once a nursery comes on board, we want it to retain the personality and leadership which has made it a success previously so the teams in the nursery have the autonomy to make decisions which best suit them.

“One area we are looking for uniformity is with our training. It’s so important that our people have career progression opportunities and apprenticeships provide a fantastic vehicle to achieve that.”

A reputation second to none

Stephen continues….

“We have traditionally opted to use numerous providers around the country and each one operates in a different way and with a different focus for learners.

“We have been impressed with the way Realise has engaged and delivered training for our learners and its reputation is second to none.

“Having an extremely strong training provision is vital to ensuring we maintain the high standards we pride ourselves on at Bright Stars and will truly benefit our managers, our learners and, ultimately, the children in our care.

“We are delighted the Realise team will be delivering the training for all our apprentices in England and look forward to a long and successful partnership.

“We are extremely proud of the bespoke curriculum we have developed for the teams in our nurseries to develop the children in our care, and embedding that curriculum in new members of our teams forms a fundamental part of the training Realise delivers to our learners.”

A rewarding partnership for all

Karen Derbyshire, Operations Director for Early Years at Realise, said she was confident the new partnership would reap rewards for all involved.

“We’re delighted to be expanding our work with the Bright Stars Group to deliver industry-leading apprenticeships, both attracting new people to the sector and helping their existing people to take the next step in their careers.”
