Adam Musa: redefining his future through Realise

From health sector to digital marketing, Level 2 maths was the key

About Adam:

Adam Musa, from Leicester, has always been passionate about his career development. After completing school, he embarked on a journey in the health sector, focusing on core science subjects. His determination led him to work in an NHS chemistry laboratory, a role that required both precision and expertise.

However, life had other plans for Adam. Due to unforeseen health issues, he found himself unable to continue in his chosen field. But Adam didn’t let this setback deter him. Instead, he embraced it as an opportunity for growth, viewing it as a chance to explore new horizons and focus on digital marketing.

To make this transition, Adam knew he needed to strengthen his foundation in Maths. He began searching for providers who could offer a Level 2 maths course. That’s when he discovered Realise. The organisation’s commitment to providing funded courses and the flexibility of remote exams immediately caught Adam’s attention. “I am hoping to get onto a digital marketing apprenticeship. Having a maths key skills level 2 grade is an essential requirement for this.”

With the guidance of his tutor, Jennifer Jones, Adam embarked on his learning journey with Realise. Despite the challenges he faced due to his health, Adam remained committed to his studies. His resilience and determination were evident in his approach to learning.

Today, Adam stands at the threshold of a promising career in digital marketing, armed with the skills and knowledge he needs to succeed. His journey with Realise has not only helped him achieve his academic goals but also instilled in him a renewed sense of confidence and purpose.

In Adam’s words, “I would definitely recommend Realise to my friends and family as I had an excellent experience with them from start to finish and most importantly achieved what I had set out to do.”

“I really enjoyed my one-to-one tutorials with my tutor Jenn. As I had gone back to studying after quite some time and studying maths (not my favourite subject) my tutor made maths a lot more understanding and she also helped greatly with exam preparations.”
