Realise is committed to and recognises our responsibility to safeguarding, prevent and keeping people safe and aware of risks and threats.

Our commitment

We want to ensure that everyone who comes into contact with Realise is safe. We do this through our dedicated safeguarding and welfare team, our policies and procedures, embedding safeguarding in our curriculum and using Tootoot to report and manage instances when they do occur.

What safeguarding covers

Safeguarding protects the health, wellbeing and human rights of all individuals to ensure they live free from abuse, harm and neglect.

Our team

Realise has a well-established and highly effective safeguarding and welfare team which consists of a designated safeguarding lead and seven deputies, each assigned to the different curriculum and business sectors. There are clear lines of accountability through the management structure to board level. The safeguarding and welfare team have also established good links with the local authorities and organisations throughout England.
