Nertila took a chance with our Skills Bootcamp, uncertain but hopeful about what it could offer. Her experience was "life-changing" and she is excited about stepping into an early years career.
Discovering new beginnings:
Nertila reflects on her initial uncertainty: “When I started, I wasn’t sure if anything would really change. I agreed to do it and just thought let’s see what I get out of it. But I’m really impressed. For me, this was a totally different learning experience compared to what I’ve done before.”
Nertila continues: “The Skills Bootcamp has made a wish come true for me. It was a great opportunity to make a new start and to figure out what I really wanted to do. Now that I’ve finished the Skills Bootcamp, I’m progressing onto the level 3 early years educator apprenticeship – and I’m thinking ahead and would like to do my level 4. So, I’m now believing in myself more.”
Overcoming challenges:
Moving into something new had its hurdles: “In the beginning, I thought it as going to be a challenge as it’s something new,” Nertila admits.
“I wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do but Realise created a really supportive environment, so everything was okay and I gained more confidence to speak in the sessions.”

“I want to thank Realise,” Nertila expressed gratefully. “I think it was down to the trainers having experience and passion. They really made us love it and made such a difference in my learning journey.”
“The style of teaching made all the difference because the trainers are clearly passionate about what they do. They helped me really understand everything. The whole experience has been life-changing for me. It’s made me feel like I want to improve and do something better in my life.”
