How did you end up working for at Realise?
“From unemployment to Realise, I took proactive steps to enhance my skills through a training course to help boost my confidence and expertise. I was referred by my work coach to Realise and I was quite eager to participate as it included qualifications and a guaranteed interview.”
What is your new job title and what does the new role entail?
“My new job title is Business Development Executive. In this role, I am responsible for developing relationships with various organisations around the Bradford and Huddersfield area. My primary focus is to connect with these entities and encourage them to enrol their learners in Realise training courses. This entails understanding the training needs of organisations, effectively communicating the benefits of Realise courses, and ultimately fostering partnerships to facilitate the growth and success of both the organisations and Realise.”
How long had you been working at Realise before you got a promotion?
“I have been promoted after just three months in my current position. This was thanks to the incredible support of the team I am proudly part of.”
Before finishing the course, did you ever think you would have a career in education?
“I never anticipated a career change in education. Having spent years in the IT and data field, the prospect of transitioning into education initially never crossed my mind.”
Where do you hope you will be with your career in five years?
“In the next five years, my career goal is to advance to the role of Business Development Manager at Realise. I am excited about the prospect of further contributing to Realise’s growth and success. The experience has proven to be a fulfilling and purposeful path that I’m excited to pursue further.”
