About the course
This course is designed to support people build the required knowledge skills and techniques to work in the security industry.
Learners will be taught the importance of good customer service when working in security and how poor customer service could lead to lack of confidence, conflict, and poor reviews for an organisation. Learners gain knowledge of how to deal with emergencies and provide first aid in a variety of situations. They will then move on to the skills and behaviours required to work in event security industry covering topics such as conflict management, teamwork, responding to hazards, controlling the entry and exit at large events and how to deal with incidents. The final session of this course is designed to provide learners with a real-life experience of a venue, learners will apply what they have learnt by demonstrating how to gain the best view point and how to manage people in the event of a fire.
