The purpose of this qualification is to develop your knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions.

This course will give you an in-depth understanding of autism and to increase your knowledge and understanding on autism.
Eligibility:
- Unemployed or earning less than £33,958.6
- Aged 19 or over
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
This course is suitable for anyone working or looking to work with Adults or Young People with Autism. Additionally it is suitable for you if you wish to develop your general knowledge and understanding of autism.
What you will learn:
You will cover a range of topics to help you develop and expand your knowledge and skills.
Topics covered:
- Understand the diagnosis and management of autism
- Understand best practice in the context of autism
- Legislation, guidance, information and support relevant to autism
- Autism and behaviour
- Living with autism in society
The course is run in-person with engaging tutor led sessions in a classroom setting.
The programme is designed to be interactive and different to traditional methods of teaching.
There’s no staring at a PowerPoint presentation, instead we will focus on the needs of the individual learners through collaborative teaching methods
