About the course
The Awareness of Bullying in Children and Young People Level 2 course provides individuals with the knowledge needed to understand, recognise, and respond to bullying effectively. The course explores what bullying is, the different forms it can take, and how it can impact children and young people's wellbeing, behaviour, and development.

Eligibility criteria
You must be a South Yorkshire resident, aged 19 or over on 31 August 2025, be ordinarily resident in the UK, and have the right to live and work in the UK.
You must be unemployed or employed and earning less than £24,570 per year. If you are employed and earn above this threshold, you may still be eligible.
What you will learn
Topics include:
- Principles of bullying and why it happens
- How to recognise signs and bullying in children and young people
- How to respond safely and appropriately when bullying occurs
- Government guidance and legislation, including anti-bullying policies and the Equality Act 2010.
