If you successfully pass the course, you’ll gain a level 1 award to add to your CV alongside valuable information to help you decide whether a career in a school is for you.

This course will help you enhance your understanding of the school environment and learn about the roles and responsibilities schools play as an organisation.
It is aimed at individuals who are looking to start their career in education, or those who would like to gain knowledge of the sector.

Eligibility:
  • Unemployed or employed and earn less than £25,000
  • Age 19 or over
  • Have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
What you will learn:
You will develop new skills that will underpin your future success in an apprenticeship and/or school setting.

How you will learn:
The course is run in-person with engaging tutor led sessions in a classroom setting, it is designed to be interactive and different to traditional methods of teaching and you will also get to network with individuals who are also considering a career in education.
There is no staring at a PowerPoint presentation, instead we will focus on the needs of the individual learners through collaborative teaching methods
