A strong partnership

Realise has been working with the Family First Nurseries Group for around three years, helping the business to develop its own homegrown talent.

A level 2 intitiative

Recently Family First partnered with Realise to launch a 16 to 18-years-old project targeting school leavers who want to pursue a career in the sector through a Level 2 early years practitioner apprenticeship.

“We currently have more than 30 young people who joined in August as part of the project – and they are flying.”

Our future workforce

“It’s been amazing to watch their confidence grow and to see them really progressing in ability.

“They are our future workforce. By bringing them on board when they are so young we have the opportunity to mould and nurture them into the practitioners that we need.

“We have Level 3 vacancies that have been open for some time. This approach gives us a pipeline of talent that can work through the qualifications and plug those gaps.”

Bespoke training for young apprentices

Realise helped Family First with recruitment of the teenagers, as well as adapting company policies to make them appropriate for young people and delivering the training.

The training was tailored specifically for young people, with additional support to give them the best chance of success.
