Chloe is set for career advancement in HR

Chloe completed the Level 5 CIPD apprenticeship and feels ready to take on higher-level roles in HR management.

An opportunity to learn and earn

Chloe Atkinson, a Talent Acquisition Specialist from Oxfordshire, decided to take on a level 5 CIPD apprenticeship as a valuable opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in her chosen field while simultaneously earning a qualification.

Chloe felt that the combination of learning and working appealed to her as a way to develop skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.

We asked Chloe what a typical day looks like as a Talent Acquisition Specialist

“As a recruiter, my typical day starts with checking emails for urgent requests, reviewing overnight applications, and planning my tasks. I collaborate with HR Business Partners, Stakeholders, and my team. I use platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn to find candidates, screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and schedule further interviews.

“I prioritise relationship management, offering support and guidance to ensure a positive candidate experience.”

A comprehensive curriculum for well-rounded HR professionals

Chloe told us she particularly enjoyed the depth of knowledge and understanding the course offered her in the field of HR management.

Each module delves into different aspects of HR, from employee relations to professional behaviours and valuing people, providing Chloe with a comprehensive understanding of the profession.

Becoming an expert in her field

Enrolling in a Level 5 CIPD course has been an enriching experience for Chloe.

“Completing this course has had a profound impact on my professional life, shaping my skills, knowledge, and career trajectory in a positive way.”

Chloe intends to continue her professional development by staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in HR management. From participating in additional training programmes, attending industry conferences, and obtaining additional certifications to further strengthen her skills and knowledge base- the sky is the limit for Chloe.

We asked Chloe what’s next in her career?

“Since completing the course, I am planning to use my new skills to pursue career advancement opportunities within the field of HR.

“With the Level 5 CIPD qualification under my belt, I am better positioned to take on higher-level roles that require advanced HR knowledge and expertise.”
