Our partnership with Smyths
Realise have teamed up with leading UK toy store, Smyths to create jobs for locals in West Yorkshire over the Christmas period all through a short training course with a guaranteed interview. There has been 14 successful applicants, who have managed to secure a sales assistant job during the Christmas period over two stores in Leeds and one in Bradford.
The ‘Sector based work academy programme’ is designed to help upskill anyone wanting to start a new career or change paths, after the one week course the learners then had a guaranteed job interview with Smyths. This course is fully-funded by the adult education budget which enables locals to get into work and add to their CV with the knowledge learnt on the course.
