What you’ll learn

This course is delivered in three parts:

  • Social media marketing

Here you will learn about the role social media plays within marketing. Discover how to engage with audiences, research innovative advertising tactics and be able to create a proposal for your own campaign to promote a product or service.

  • Cybersecurity

During this phase of the learning, you’ll get to know about cybercrime, learn about protective methods to maintain cybersecurity and delve into legislation and codes of conduct related to cybersecurity.

  • Personal development/customer service

You can take two routes, personal development or customer service.

If you are following the personal development route then you will complete a mandatory unit in self-management, with optional units available in teamwork, relationship building, interview skills and applying for a job.

If customer service is more relevant then you will learn practical skills, demonstrate how to meet customer expectations and learn about effective communication techniques.

Wider learning subjects are embedded throughout the curriculum as well as maths, English and online safety.

How you’ll learn

Before progressing onto the learning phase, you will attend an induction to ensure the course is right for you.

11 days of learning will follow, these can take place in a classroom or through online workshops.
