The people that make it happen
With over 13 years of experience as a dedicated Business Skills Trainer, I specialise in delivering apprenticeships in Customer Service Level 3 and Business Administration Levels 2, 3, and 4. I'm passionate about sharing industry best practices and developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours that empower individuals to succeed in the business world.
Whether supporting those just starting out or helping professionals take the next step in their careers, I’m committed to guiding learners toward meaningful growth and long-term success in the business skills sector.
While working abroad, I earned my Certificate in Education and PTLLS, which gave me valuable insight into different teaching methods and how varied learning environments influence student engagement. Much of my teaching involved diverse groups of learners from different nationalities, ages, and backgrounds, which inspired me to create dynamic, interactive, and enjoyable learning experiences.
Since returning to the UK, I have taught and assessed Business Administration. I thrive on the variety my role offers - no two learners are the same, and every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

I have spent my entire career in education and have always enjoyed supporting learners in developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours across a range of contexts.
I am a fully qualified language teacher and spent 11 years teaching French and Spanish both in the UK and abroad. In 2009, I transitioned from mainstream education into the apprenticeship sector, where I gained extensive experience and understanding of vocational learning. Since then, I have qualified as an assessor, Functional Skills tutor, and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), delivering programmes in Customer Service, Business Administration, and Management.
I am a strong advocate for traditional educational values where intellectual challenge, discipline, and the rigour of study play a key role in learner development. I understand the importance of harnessing learners' natural curiosity to engage, motivate, and challenge them. I bring enthusiasm and dedication to my work, along with a continued commitment to my own professional development.
My early career began in a customer service role at a large utility company, where I held various positions including credit management, correspondence, and customer excellence. I also took on coaching responsibilities and worked as a Training Centre Manager. During this time, I completed NVQs in Customer Service, Contact Centre Operations, and Learning and Development.
Afterward, I took time out to backpack around Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. On returning, I began working in a role that supported people back into employment, which sparked my interest in further education and apprenticeships.
Since 2008, I’ve worked with several training providers in roles such as assessor, coach, and tutor. One of my most recent accomplishments was achieving a Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management & Leadership in 2024.
I’m passionate about supporting people, helping them recognise their potential, and guiding them toward achieving qualifications that can transform their futures.

I began my career in the retail and business management sector before transitioning into local government, where I worked with businesses and schools to provide education and support around consumer protection.
From there, I moved into the learning and development sector, sharing my business knowledge through the delivery of workplace training programs. This naturally led me into the apprenticeships space, where I’ve continued to grow and evolve.
Over the years, I’ve actively developed my own skills to enhance my delivery and business acumen, gaining qualifications such as Internal Quality Assurance and the Award in End Point Assessment to further support my role.
