The Liverpool City Region Adult Learning Awards are an opportunity for you to nominate the best learners from the Liverpool City Region. The awards are open to any learner from across the area. Learners should have attended courses funded by the Adult Education Budget. We are looking forward to reading stories of learners who have taken steps to improve their prospects through learning.

This is a unique opportunity for learners to be recognised and a panel of expert judges will be reviewing their stories. We believe in rewarding learners for their success, dedication to adult education and hard work to improve their future.

• Adult Learner of the Year Award – Halton.
• Adult Learner of the Year Award – Knowsley.
• Adult Learner of the Year Award – Liverpool.
• Adult Learner of the Year Award – Sefton.
• Adult Learner of the Year Award – St Helens.
• Adult Learner of the Year Award – Wirral.
• Learning to Gain Work Award – This award will highlight a learner who has demonstrated a determination to overcome significant obstacles and barriers to learning.
• Learning in Work Award – This award will demonstrate a commitment to in-work progression as a result of further education and training.
• Progression in Learning Award – This award will highlight the learner for personal development and a non-employment outcome, where barriers and personal challenges have been faced and overcome.
• Social Integration Award – This award will highlight where learning has been used to support social integration within the Liverpool City Region.
• Health and Wellbeing Award – This award will recognise a learner who has recovered/is recovering from a mental or physical health condition where learning has benefited recovery.
• Referral Partner of the Year Award – This award will be presented to the organisation that has best-supported access to adult learning.
