About the apprenticeship
The 18-month programme level 4 lead practitioner in adult care apprenticeship is designed to support adult care professionals to enhance their leadership skills and make the transition into becoming a care manager.
Individuals from a range of settings such as nursing homes, residential homes, support services, domiciliary care and specialist treatment and recovery services can benefit from this course.
The apprenticeship will guide and inspire team members to make positive differences to the lives of others, particularly those facing physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges.
The training comprises of work-based learning over 15 months, followed by three months of preparation towards an End Point Assessment. The whole programme will be delivered by a dedicated and occupationally qualified training and development Officer.
Upon completion, apprentices will have attained the Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care and be equipped with the skills, knowledge and behaviours for a successful career in the adult care sector.
