Why hiring a young early years apprentice is worth it!

Why hiring a young early years apprentice is worth it!

Listen to Michele Falconer, Apprenticeship Lead at Family First and learn why hiring young apprentices for your nursery is a no-brainer!

A strong partnership

Realise has been working with the Family First Nurseries Group for around three years, helping the business to develop its own homegrown talent.

A level 2 intitiative

Recently Family First partnered with Realise to launch a 16 to 18-years-old project targeting school leavers who want to pursue a career in the sector through a Level 2 early years practitioner apprenticeship.

Our future workforce

“It’s been amazing to watch their confidence grow and to see them really progressing in ability.

“They are our future workforce. By bringing them on board when they are so young we have the opportunity to mould and nurture them into the practitioners that we need.

Bespoke training for young apprentices

Realise helped Family First with recruitment of the teenagers, as well as adapting company policies to make them appropriate for young people and delivering the training.

The training was tailored specifically for young people, with additional support to give them the best chance of success.
