Realise hosts Brilliant Breakfast to support women's career progression

Realise is stepping up to enhance job opportunities and career prospects for women across the Liverpool City Region and beyond through the Brilliant Breakfast initiative.

A commitment to The King’s Trust

Realise, one of the UK’s top training providers, will host a Brilliant Breakfast event at its Liverpool Skills Hub as part of its wider commitment to supporting the King’s Trust across northern England.

What is a Brilliant Breakfast?

Brilliant Breakfasts are fundraising events arranged by The King’s Trust to help women access training, job opportunities, and career support, particularly for those currently out of work. The Realise event will occur at Realise’s Skills Hub in Liverpool based at G8 Shipwright’s House, Queens Dock Business Centre, between 9:30am and 12 noon on Thursday 20th of March 2025.

A call to action

Stu Howorth, Social Values Manager at Realise, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Brilliant Breakfast campaign of The King’s Trust, and we are hoping as many members of the public, third-party organisations, and partners attend the event to create a real buzz.”

“We are passionate about delivering enhanced career opportunities for all our learners. With both International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day falling in March, this month provides the perfect opportunity to highlight the achievements and aspirations of our female learners in particular.”

“There is no need for anyone to book for the Brilliant Breakfast in advance – those wishing to attend can just arrive in the morning and join in the fundraising.”

Expanding the initiative across northern England

In addition to the event in Liverpool, Realise will be running further Brilliant Breakfast activities in two other northern England locations where it delivers training. In West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, Realise team members will distribute breakfast items to learners during their training sessions over the next two weeks.

Giving back to the community

Stu added: “As well as changing people’s lives through offering upskilling opportunities, we are committed to giving back to the communities in which we operate, and The Brilliant Breakfast campaign gives us the opportunity to do exactly that.”

Fully funded courses to support learners

Among the fully funded courses Realise offers in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St. Helens, and the Wirral are Essential Digital Skills, Mental Health First Aid at Work, Preparing to Work in Schools, and Functional Skills in English and Maths.

A strong dedication to career development

The event reflects Realise’s ongoing dedication to empowering individuals through education and training, reinforcing its position as a key player in supporting career development in the region.
