Jane gets trained up for free, before applying for jobs in schools.

Realise

After enhancing her CV with a free Realise course, Jane is now looking forward to further training and a bright future working within a school.

Jane’s story:

After being a stay-at-home mum for many years, Jane decided she wanted to get back into work. To achieve her goal, Jane needed a job that she could fit around school hours, so when she found the chance to study towards working in a school, she applied straightaway.

Jane’s programme, the level 1 award in preparing to work in schools, was delivered by Realise. When asked about the course, Jane said: “It has been very informative, I found it really helpful having recap talks to ensure the knowledge was embedded. I enjoyed learning as a group and our tutor, Lindsey, was brilliant!”

After completing the course, Jane is now looking forward to a bright future within the education sector. But first, she has chosen to take on additional training to support her career prospects. She continues: “I have enjoyed every part of this course, and it has got me started on a new career path. I am looking forward to completing my level 2 preparing to work in schools as I want to further my knowledge and skills as much as I can.”
