Grandir UK, one of the most ambitious nursery groups in the UK, has appointed Realise as its new principal training provider.

Consistency and quality

The decision of Grandir UK to move its apprenticeships delivery to Realise has been made to offer learners greater consistency and quality in their development.

With more than 1,800 employees and 70 settings, Grandir UK is one of the fastest growing nursery groups in the country.

Grandir UK currently has 83 apprentices taking on a combination of Level 2, 3 and 5 Early Years apprenticeships. Realise will deliver the vast majority of the training and is also aiming to support other areas of the business through a Level 3 Early Years Business Administration apprenticeship.

Passionate about apprenticeships

Teresa Brooke, Head of Early Years & Education at Grandir UK, said: “We are delighted to have appointed Realise as our main training provider across all the apprenticeships we offer. Realise will start working with most of our apprentices immediately and we are hoping to grow that number in the months to come.

“We have appointed Realise for consistency and quality. I have worked with Realise before so I know the level of detail they go into.
“As well as delivering an outstanding learner experience, they also support the employer by providing really good data so you can follow each learner’s progress.

“Realise will also work with us in upskilling the workforce through webinars and seminars, which you just don’t get with other providers.

“I’m very passionate about apprenticeships and I’m excited to have partnered with Realise.”

Our main aim is to produce fantastic early years practitioners for Grandir UK, which is exactly what the sector desperately needs at the moment.”

Karen Derbyshire, Head of Early Years at Realise, said: “This is a fantastic new partnership and one we are very much looking forward to working on.

“Grandir UK is enjoying rapid expansion and is committed to supporting families with the highest quality of care.

“The Realise philosophy is ‘right learner, right programme’. As such, our teams are currently undertaking field visits across all Grandir UK settings to ensure we can individualise their programmes of learning.

“Ultimately, our main aim is to produce fantastic early years practitioners for Grandir UK, which is exactly what the sector desperately needs at the moment.”
