Realise is delighted to announce that we have once again met the criteria for the government’s Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).

Ensuring quality training providers

Here at Realise, we are proud of our standing as one of the largest – and fastest growing – training providers in the UK.

That position has been recently cemented by our successful re-application to the government’s Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).

The RoATP is the gold standard for apprenticeship and training providers in the UK.

Earlier this year, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) launched a “refresh” with a new set of application criteria for the 1,800 providers on the register to meet.

We are delighted to confirm that Realise is one of the first quality providers to successfully undertake and complete the process.

Improving the quality of apprenticeships

The refresh requires every provider to go through a robust application process, with more stringent entry criteria needing to be met.

The new entry requirements for the register demonstrates the ESFA’S commitment to improving the quality of apprenticeship training, ensuring only providers who are appropriately skilled, ready to deliver and financially stable can access apprenticeship funding.

Around 45 to 50 providers have been successful in their refresh application for the RoATP to date.

Gregg Scott’s thoughts

Gregg Scott, Managing Director of Realise, said: “Securing our place so early in the refresh programme is a huge boost for everyone involved with our training provisions – whether that be the learner, the employer or our expert trainers.

“It not only verifies the training we are delivering and the processes we have in place in the business but, most importantly, it provides security for everyone involved.

“We now have that assurance that we are part of the RoATP for the foreseeable future.

“That’s important as it allows the 4,000-plus learners and the many employers we are currently working with to be able to plan for the future with us with confidence.

“The same also applies for any potential learners and employers looking for a new training provider moving forward. Our aim is to continue to expand and deliver opportunities for learners to allow them to unlock their potential, for both their own careers and their employers.”
