Bright Stars case studies
At Realise, we’re proud to support individuals at every stage of their journey into education. These recent success stories from our Early Years programmes showcase what’s possible with the right guidance, structure and determination—and they reflect exactly what learners can expect from our Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship.
From structured support to confident practitioner
Louise recently completed her Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification, building both her skills and confidence along the way with the support of Bright Stars Nursery and Realise Early Years.
During her learning journey, Louise found that having clear structure and manageable deadlines helped her stay focused - particularly during remote sessions. With the right support in place, she developed a consistent and positive approach to her workload.
A key part of Louise’s progress was her open communication. She regularly asked for support and guidance, ensuring her learning needs were understood and met. This proactive mindset helped her stay on track and produce work to a strong standard.
Now nearing the final stage of her qualification, Louise has grown in confidence and capability and feels well prepared for her End-Point Assessment - ready to take the next step in her early years career
Building confidence through communication
When Georgia Constantinou began her Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification, she faced a key challenge—confidence in verbal communication. With the support of Bright Stars Nursery and Realise Early Years, she set out to overcome this and progress in her career.
At first, Georgia found it difficult to express her thoughts and experiences, which created a barrier to her learning. However, with tailored support from her tutor at Realise Early Years and encouragement from her team at Bright Stars, she gradually built her confidence through regular discussions and guided practice.
This progress was reflected in her achievement of a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English, where she performed particularly well in her speaking assessment.
Today, Georgia is confident, motivated and able to communicate clearly and effectively. With the support of both her employer and training provider, she feels well prepared for her End-Point Assessment and is ready to achieve her qualification.
A standout learner with a passion for early years
Ella Coles has successfully completed her Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification, demonstrating exceptional commitment throughout her apprenticeship with the support of Bright Stars Nursery and Realise Early Years.
From the beginning, Ella approached her development with enthusiasm and focus. Supported by her tutor and her team, she maintained excellent organisation and time management, consistently keeping her work and off-the-job hours up to date.
Ella fully engaged with every aspect of her learning, from assessments to reflective practice, always striving to produce work to a high standard. In her setting at Bright Stars, she is recognised as a valued team member who shows initiative, professionalism and strong early years practice.
Now having completed her End-Point Assessment, Ella should be incredibly proud of her achievements. With a strong foundation of skills and knowledge, she is well placed to continue growing in her early years career.
Turning resilience into career progression
James (Jimmy) Busby has successfully completed his Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification, building on his previous experience in the sector with the support of Bright Stars Nursery and Realise Early Years.
Balancing work, study and Functional Skills initially presented challenges, but with guidance from his tutor and support from his team, Jimmy showed determination and resilience. He successfully achieved his English Functional Skills qualification and consistently demonstrated his knowledge through discussions and observations.
During a particularly challenging time for his mental health, Jimmy showed real strength -adopting positive coping strategies and speaking openly about his wellbeing while continuing to progress in his learning.
His hard work paid off, achieving a distinction in both elements of his End-Point Assessment. Jimmy’s development has also been recognised within Bright Stars, where he was promoted to Acting Room Leader -a role that has since become permanent.
