Realise recognised for putting people at the heart of social care with prestigious award

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Realise has won the Social Care Workforce Development Award at the 2026 Social Care Premier Supplier Awards, recognising our commitment to developing the people who make social care possible.

It was a proud night for Realise in London as we were named winners of the Social Care Workforce Development Award 2026.

The award is a fantastic achievement for our whole team and reflects the hard work, dedication and care that goes into supporting people and organisations across the social care sector.

The judges chose Realise Training as the winner for its commitment to developing a skilled, confident and resilient social care workforce. Through training and apprenticeship programmes, it works with care organisations to support learning that is relevant to everyday practice. Its nomination highlighted partnerships with established providers, including United Response, Change Grow Live and Barchester Healthcare, alongside support for thousands of learners each year. The panel valued the scale of its contribution and its focus on meaningful workforce development. Realise Training demonstrates how strong educational partnerships can help care teams grow professionally and deliver better support to the people they serve.

For us, workforce development is about much more than delivering qualifications. It is about helping people build confidence, develop their skills and progress in their careers, while giving employers the support they need to develop and retain a capable, motivated workforce.

That takes a team effort. From our trainers working directly with learners and employers to the colleagues supporting them behind the scenes, everyone plays a part in creating the experience and impact we want Realise to be known for.

Angela Kaine, Director of Health and Social Care at Realise, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to win this award. It is a brilliant recognition of the passion, expertise and commitment our team brings to social care every day.

“Workforce development has such an important part to play in the future of the sector. By investing in people, developing future leaders and creating clear opportunities for progression, we can help employers build stronger teams while enabling individuals to build rewarding careers in care.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our team has achieved. This award belongs to every colleague who works so hard to support our learners and employer partners.”

Winning the award gives us even more motivation to keep moving forward, developing our offer and finding better ways to support the changing needs of the social care workforce.

Most importantly, it recognises something we strongly believe: investing in people is fundamental to the future of social care.
