About the course

The HR support level 3 apprenticeship has been designed with our HR and learning & development specialists to deliver a fantastic and well-rounded apprenticeship. Having the right skills whilst working in human resources will make you an exceptional member of the team.

We deliver the apprenticeship as a 14-month blended learning programme. Our methods of teaching provide you with a flexible and accessible learning model. 

This course is cost-free to learners. All our programmes are regulated and funded through the government or the apprenticeship levy.

What you’ll learn

We’ll support you to develop a broad range of skills for successfully managing day-to-day HR processes and issues. You will master new skills across topics such as:

Learning topics include:

  • HR legislation and policy
  • HR function
  • HR systems and processes
  • Managing HR information
  • Providing HR advice and providing employment law support
  • Problem solving
  • Reporting to HR management
  • HR outsourcing

If you don’t have functional skills Level 2 English and maths, you will need to achieve this prior to taking the end point assessment. We have a specialist team and experts in place to help and guide individuals through this if it is required.

How you’ll learn

You’ll benefit from our blended learning programme. It is delivered in cohorts, meaning you will be working alongside other like-minded and skilled apprentices throughout your journey, enabling you to form new networks and relationships.

Our blended learning programme typically includes:

  • An expert and dedicated HR specialist trainer providing ongoing training, guidance and support.
  • Being part of a cohort of apprentices with peer-to-peer support encouraged
  • Regular one-to-one sessions
  • Workshop sessions
  • Guided learning tasks
  • Remote support as and when you need assistance
  • Progress reviews, including a pre-gateway and final gateway review before end point assessment
  • End point assessment preparation and support ensuring readiness to progress

How much is level 3 HR training for learners?

Apprenticeships are cost-free to the learner. It is the employer’s responsibility to fund apprenticeships. This can either be done through a company’s apprenticeship levy or through co-investment, which is where the employer contributes 5% of the total cost of the apprenticeship, with the government paying for remaining 95%

Will I be eligible for CIPD membership once I have completed my HR apprenticeship?
